24-Hour R&D: Instagram Projection Mapping. The fourth project in our R&D series: 24-Hour R&D. We wrote a program to access live Instagram and Twitter information. It can display photos by hashtag or from a select user as well as the associated tags, captions or “likes” information.

We thought it would be fun to map it to some boxes from a previous R&D project to make the display a little more interesting. Images are mapped to boxes according to likes (more likes - bigger box) while their tags are displayed in the background with the color of each tag being associated with the colors of the images.
