Stepping into Van Gogh's Artwork
Following the success of New Zealand's outdoor Van Gogh exhibition, the The Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields in Indianapolis, Indiana is bringing the same immersive event to the U.S. in 2021. THE LUME is made in collaboration with Australian-based company Grande Experiences and will feature the Dutch painter's most iconic works—including The Starry Night, Almond Blossoms, and Irises. They will be projected on the museum's entire fourth floor. It is the first exhibition of its kind to debut in Newfields' 137-year history, and the first digital gallery experience of this scale to be held at an art museum in the United States. https://mymodernmet.com/the-lume-van-gogh-exhibition/
Projection Restaurant of the Future
The HoloLamp technology creates a projected tangible interface on each restaurant table-top, so that each customer can select and view the dishes directly on the table-top and in full size in 3D, and finally place the order while remaining seated.
360 Degree Sound and Light Installation
TALK - Atomium ( April to November 2016 ) Sound and light installation for the Atomium expo in Brussels with an orignal music composition of Thomas Vaquié "Each person who discovers and explores the TALK project will be immersed in a grandiose, colorful and sonic artistic experiment, and will be the witness, from inside, of a sonic and visual maelstrom symbolizing the never-ending evolution of always diverging but always communicating electronic systems." (Stéphane Beauverger) 360° compositing Benjamin Cavillac
Light Leaks projection mapping
A scattered array of dozens of mirror balls reflect light from multiple projectors, filling a room completely with small reflections, casting patterns that fill the visitor’s peripheral vision. Creating a curious space that alternates between a meditative state, and an uneasy imbalance. An experiment in combining a found object with computer vision to create a profound and unusual experience. Locations in video are La Gaîté Lyrique (2014) and Day for Night Festival (2017). London Design Biennale
Utopia by Design a projection mapping experience developed in the London Design Biennale.
Print and Projection Storytelling
Screen-printed illustrations spring to life when touched, as conductive ink triggers a host of playful digital animations – a mix of informative and charming content, from product information to brand stories to chasing ducks.
Pushing the boundaries of storytelling within a space, the installation makes it fun and engaging, putting ideas before hardware.
A total of 48 interactions and over 100 unique animations make up the broad spectrum of content on the stand, from simple sound toys to more complex exchanges that layer projection mapping and movement around a physical space.
Projection mapping ping pong
Immersive retro arcade gaming experience and a whole new way for groups to play - with very little skill needed. “This is one of the most multifaceted projection mapping projects we have worked on and a true technological breakthrough for the social entertainment industry. We always enjoy a challenge at Projection Artworks and we like working on immersive experiences that make people say ‘wow’. This project does exactly that”.
