Text animations - creative coding

I stumbled upon this amazing project that is a reminder of the creativity that I often find most inspiring. Simplicity at the core. Clean text, black and white, and a simple animation are the perfect visual recipe every time. Amazing project by Andreion de Castro on Behance. Most of my old flash projects utilized simple text animations very similar (example, example).

IBM Design Language

With the launch of a new visual language, typeface and robust set of tools, IBM has taken the ambitious step of not only refreshing their brand but reinventing their entire approach to design. Its foundation is a philosophy that informs all of their decisions - a way of thinking about design, and the responsibility it holds. A team of our own self-identified design nerds partnered with the IBM Design team to develop this series of animations that live within the Design Language repository. Written, designed and animated with rigorous adherence to their system, each short illustrates and embodies the IBM Design Language, functioning as a bridge between principle and practice.

Microsoft Design

Microsoft has been producing some excellent visualizations into the thinking behind their software lately. I love this new Microsoft because the message and principles behind the work they are doing are clear to the consumer of their software. They still lack the level of detail that Apple communicates consistently, but these are significant steps in the right direction for there business.

Electronic university interactive presentation

A panoramic projection screen controlled from multi-touch holographic platform. Using the futuristic multi-touch interface the presenter could scroll through sections to choose one he wants to speak about. With a fast hand gesture he would then throw the section's icon to the big screen where it would transform into a colorful video about the main features of the system. Technologies used: Unity3d, C#, Scaleform, Flash, AS3.

VR Shopping Inspiration

A project I worked on last year focused on what physical shopping experiences would look like in the coming years leveraging technologies such as AR, VR, etc. These videos highlight some experiences we can expect.
