Dreamscape Light Sculpture on architectural landscape

"Dreamscape" is an interpretation of vision and representation of 'hypercube' via explorations on architectural landscape. This lighting sculpture was inspired and manifested by the characteristic of 'hypercube' and its fourth dimension. It is an affair of finding the attraction and hidden messages within this cubical structure. Each layer of the structure creates a new dimension with different depth of field. Seeing through layers of the sculpture in different angles, it gives us a visual attraction and aesthetic experiences of light in the motion, illusion and dimension.

LED-Adorned Cyclists Create Stunning Dance of Light

Created for the grand depart of the Tour de France 2014 from Yorkshire, Ghost Peloton fuses performance cycling with athletic choreography performed by Phoenix Dance Theatre’s dancers, and the varied landscapes of race route. Each rider, bike and performer was illuminated using NVA’s bespoke LED light suit, which can instantaneously change colour, flash-rate and luminosity. The rhythm of movement from the choreographed actions of massed participants becomes a source of creativity in itself, extending perception of the immediate setting. It’s epic public art, operating at the grandest scale, where physical surroundings become an open canvas carrying a new visual language, expressing mood and movement, comprised of form, colour and line.

UserPic videosculpture by Aristarkh Chernyshev

The sculputure's name, Userpic, denotes, "a connection between a profile picture and a renaissance portrait of a wealthy city dweller, who hired an artist to make his portrait to represent himself to the society, i.e. a specific userpic to present oneself to the world," Chernyshev told Designboom. Its interpretation software allows it to cycle through some of history's most famous paintings and sculptures, from Michelangelo's David, to the Mona Lisa, funneling their images through the looping LED structure.

Marsatac music festival LED installation

Our double LED installation done for the acclaimed 2014 Marsatac music festival in Marseille! First the iconic "M" entry way along with our second and main installation which was set throughout a huge corridor leading party-goers from stage to stage, adding some color to a night many will remember for a long time to come.
