Dreamy Light Installations

French artist Claude Lévêque has been creating light sculptures and installations since the ’80s. There’s a surreal quality to much of his work — upside down blacklit beds, abandoned trailers with chandeliers, or an elevated one with stringed lights inside, precariously balanced on cement blocks — as well as wit. I also like the way many of his neon signs are integrated with chairs or paintings, resulting in a strange juxtaposition. Lévêque currently has a show at La Maison Rouge in Paris through May 20th. via galerie kamel mennour

Photon Shower | Nexus Interactive Arts. The Photon Shower lets you input travel information on an iPad outside the booth and then inside guides you through the personalised experience with narration, ambient sound and animation displayed on a huge LED wall. These recreate the effects of sunlight which helps fight jet lag, and there’s also a caffeine-type pick-me-up for weary travellers. Source

Lazer Mesh Cut | A Spy Experience Game. We’ve set a 7.3x2.5x2.5 m modular construction. Therefore we construct the playground in 2 hours to wherever we want. We made the experience design using 200 mW green lasers. We connected the laser network to the circuit managed by Arduino Mega. We set security cams and set in some smoke to make the players work easier. Although it is fun for the players to play we’ve set a compelling parcour for them. Source
